Our HeadRest programme helps school teachers develop personal mindfulness and even implement mindfulness across the school community. Adults and students benefit from HeadRest by developing the ability to focus attention and self-regulate, laying the groundwork for a healthy learning environment. Mindfulness programs aid in the growth of empathy and generosity – excellent qualities for both students and teachers.
Our Programme for School Teachers Fights Burnout, Improves Outlook
Educators face enormous challenges, too often leading to burnout. Mindfulness training is an excellent way for teachers to maintain their energy and life balance while meeting the demands of the classroom.
School teachers participating in an 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) pilot program reported elevated levels of self-compassion and a decrease in anxiety, depression, and frustration.
School teachers noted their classroom performance improved, including better behaviour management and more effective emotional and instructional support for their students.
These results indicate mindfulness may reduce burnout, increase satisfaction and improve teacher effectiveness by giving educators new tools to lessen the impact of stressful experiences as they are happening.
Our trainers are qualified MBSR teachers – the gold-standard of mindfulness programmes – and bring these powerful mindfulness approaches directly to your school site.
