For those who have a particular interest in the Buddhist Background to MBSR/MBCT, I have provided some articles.

Basic Buddhism focuses on the essential insights and teachings within Buddhism, and the essential principle of working with one’s mind. The second page offers a Model of Mindfulness  from the Buddhist tradition and offers comparison Shapiro’s “Axiom of Mindfulness”, a highly influential model of mindfulness practice within MBSR and MBCT training. Buddhist terminology used throughout is in Pali with English translation.
